The Projectionist....

One of my several jobs is working as a projectionist during weekends. I have shown a lot of movies. The last movie i showed was 'Jesus Camp', a documentary about Evangelical christians' quest to indoctrinate their children. Weird movie. So, working backstage, i keep an eye on this 35mm projector to make sure nothing goes wrong. It's one of the coolest jobs i have had during my years at the college... 

Grinnell, IA

I take a lot of pictures. At this point, i am a photographer for two publications: the Grinnell Magazine and the Grinnell College Yearbook. So, on this particular occasion, i decided to go downtown to see if i can get or or two frames. This is main street, and it looks really lovely. The christmass decorations etc makes the place look special. I will sure go back one of these days to get nicer shots. 

Soccer ladies. These guys, i have had a chance to interact with them for a long time. We do play soccer sometimes, and on this particular occasion we had won....beating Hilmi and Le Duc's team. It was kinda like the sweet taste of success i guess. I had showed up, not to play soccer, why i'm not in my usual soccer gear.

One of my best friends Kat York. Really nice lady. She from Portland, Oregon. She told me her dream is to own her coffee shop! Oh, she is also an excellent artisian, really good at drawing. 

Mr. T.

Well, i have fallen in love with comic books of late. I love comic book heroes like the Martian Manhunter, Shift, Spiderman, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, and of course Superman. Watching the tv show 'smallville' has been the sole reason why i love comic book heroes, who i wish they could come save me from this cruel world. I love them. I guess everybody needs something to hold on to...and for me, that is a comic book hero.
I didn't know they made Mr. T into a comic book hero. Thats cool though..

Katherine Nii! She is the school team that has reigns supreme in the Midwest Conference, where they have won straight titles over and over again. 

The night is long. Working through the night, although fun sometimes it gets to my nerves.
